We Looking for Volunteers for the Mercury Music Festival, over Queen’s Birthday Weekend (3rd and 4th of June)
Come be a part of the newest iconic event in our Mercury Bay. We are looking for a variety of skill sets and talents, and you might even make a few new friends in the process. If you have fancied yourself being part of the kiwi and international music scene, or you are up for something interesting to do, or even if you just want to add to our funky community of creative people, we want to talk to you.
We are looking for local volunteers who can give a minimum of 1 X 4 hour shift, and if you can work two shifts, even better. Those volunteers working 2 or more shifts will get a free weekend pass. Those working 1 X 4 hour shift will get 1 day pass. We are looking help in the following areas:
- Festival Headquarters helpers
- Bar staff and runners
- Front of House managers and FOH staff
- Stage Managers
- Green room staff/musician handlers
- Venue set up and clean up teams
- Venue decorations and creative display geniuses
By volunteering you can be part of an Iconic Kiwi music event, meet new people, develop new networks and rub shoulders (and pick up tips) from accomplished musical talent. Volunteering offers all these opportunities plus more.
