Join us in 2017 Mercury Bay Music Festival to celebrate and nurture Kiwi, international  and local musical talent, right here in our own beautiful Coromandel community.

For this family-friendly event, we will line up a fabulous mix of artists who will grace us with  an eclectic variety  of  jazz, big band, blues, folk, world, J-Pop and acoustic music, all in  intimate and easy to reach venues in Whitianga.

Indulge your own Inner Musician

To foster our local Kiwi talent, many of our artists will also generously share their skills in workshops over the weekend, which will be open to aspiring Kiwi musicians of all abilities and all ages.

We also welcome and encourage budding performers to be actively involved through busking, jamming and open mic sessions and we will be partnering with Whitianga café and restaurant venues to provide you with just the right stage to shine.

Make sure you plan to join us in Whitianga over Queen’s Birthday, to listen to or to learn from our rich line up of artists.  You might even come be a star in your own right, but do come and be inspired at the Mercury Bay Music Festival, a family-friendly festival bringing the world of musical talent home to our own Mercury Bay.
